Sudhir is a veteran banker, who has more than 40 years of Banking experience with a public sector bank. He has worked in various part of the country and in various senior profiles including Regional Head. He has seen banking transition from physical to digital.
Being a dynamic personality, post his retirement, he took up the assignment of running the UP MFI association and took it to the next level. This assignment also gave him the opportunity of not only working in the MFI sector and seeing all the players in the state but also working closely working with government and MFIN, Sa-Dhan and RBI with the challenges and issues of MFIs in the state.
Manoj K Sharma is Managing Director at MSC (formerly MicroSave) and manages the Asia and East Africa operations. He has been working in the field of development finance for more than 25 years. Manoj has extensive experience in digital channels for financial inclusion, agent-based outreach channels, risk, and fraud management, and client protection issues in a digitized world.
Manoj has also been supporting the move towards digitization of government benefits and direct cash transfers to target customer segments. His interest lies in financial inclusion, more specifically in the development of innovative products and in technology-based delivery channels to enable sustainable delivery of financial services to be to low-income segments, especially women. Prior to MSC, Manoj worked at the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) focussed on its micro-enterprise portfolio.
